Oh dear, oh dear. Sounds like the Bah Humbugs are back. Looks like WMDC (Labour) and Featherstone town council (Labour) have decided not to have any Christmas lights this year. Due to insurance costs, annual PAT test costs and the cost of re-wiring to standard.
Wonder when the Pont & Cas will print this one?

THIS WAS TAKEN FROM ANOTHER WEB SITE AND IS AN OUTRIGHT LIE why anyone would print this is beyond me ::) :'( >:(

Does anyone think that the Town Council should stop supporting the Market and just let it close as it would appear that the Featherstone Chamber of Trade have no desire to see it succeed. I could be wrong but this was a topic of conversation i overheard in the B&S. :-\ :(
